| | Taste of Tacoma was awesome again!! I remembered to bring my camera but failed to check its battery life. Luckily Viktoria had her camera, so I used it to take photos of what we ate. Once I get those pictures from her (hint, hint), I'll post them. I got some more of the most amazing soap in the whole world (Sweet Home Soap) from the cutest little elderly couple, and I bought a gorgeous candle holder. Viktoria got a cute henna tattoo and didn't like the wine tasting but changed her initial thumbs down to Indian food from months ago to a biiiig thumbs up. I was so excited about going to the Taste that when I was getting copies of my keys made at Lowe's that morning and the guy asked me how I was doing, I said, "I'm great, so excited about the Taste of Tacoma today! I'm going to eat, eat, eat all day!" When I left, he told me not to eat too much. I did not listen to his advice and definitely did eat too much, and it was so worth it. | Hahaha, some guy yesterday tried to get into my apartment because he thought it was his. My door was locked and he tried to open it, then I heard him say, "Hoooney!" and he tried using his key. I opened the door and he took a step forward, then stopped and just stared at me. I was like, "Dude. This is not your apartment." He looked inside, looked at me all confused for a few seconds and then said, "I feel retarded now. Bye." Hahahahaha.
He didn't seem drunk, but I had such little interaction with him that I couldn't tell for sure. How else do you go to the completely wrong apartment?! I hope he found his home and his wife alright.
Can you imagine if the door wasn't locked? I would have loved to see his reaction if it was unlocked and he just walked in, saw me sitting there and realized it wasn't his place. Or what if I wasn't home? How long would he stand outside trying to open the door with his key? How confused would he be?? Hahaha. | Back to the daily grind. I so don't feel like working. I just want to stay in bed and sleep for a few days.
It snowed a fair amount late yesterday afternoon and into the evening, but this morning it was mostly all gone. That's more like it. After those big storms and all the ice and craziness, yesterday's snow was nothing. But don't misread that as me liking it, because I assure you that is not the case.

| A few days ago at the dog park, there were two 1-year-old German shepherds named Hansel and Gretel who completely latched on to Pono. They followed him everywhere and wouldn't let him out of their sight. There were plenty of other doggies there, but they were only interested in Pono. So strange! But cute of course. It's obviously because Pono's the coolest dog in the world and they want to be just like him.
I visited the Mezas last night and met itty-bitty baby Santiago. Soooo adorable!! He has superlong fingers and fat little earlobes. He makes the cutest noises. Babies babies babies.

| Happy 2 years of marriage for me and Patrick!! I so wish we could be at Lanikai right now. I remember the night of our first kiss on that gorgeous beach over 5 years ago. Who would have thought we'd be getting married on that same beach 3 years later?! Awww, love. :)
We're celebrating this Labor Day weekend by going to Leavenworth (the Bavarian town, not the prison) and I'm super excited! We have our king suite with jacuzzi set up and reservations for RIVER TUBING!!!! I'm so stoked for a lazy day tubing down the river, stopping at the little beaches to swim and enjoy the sun. And then coming back to the hotel and relaxing in the jacuzzi.
